More time at home? More time in the kitchen. That’s the way our Augurs see it. Not only has a policy of working from home sparked more delicious homemade lunches, but our team has even embraced their culinary passions during their weekends, too.
We’re not alone either. Across the U.S., Google searches for ‘recipes’ as a topic has soared in tandem with the surge of shelter-in-place orders as a response to the novel Coronavirus pandemic.
In the U.S., we typically only see a spike in recipe-related searches each year around two holidays; Thanksgiving and Christmas. Already, demand has breezed past the spike we only see during the holiday season.
But it isn’t the holiday season; we’re all just hungry, bored, and in need of a little kitchen comfort.
