A large solar panel installation company, that operates in a four state area, was struggling to rank in the local business section of organic search results. The company had four Google Business profiles created but little work had been done to optimize performance. Before optimization, the client was only ranking in 3/20 targeted local packs.
After auditing their GBPs, our SEO team identified opportunities and developed an optimization plan. First we made sure to define the proper service area in each GBP and point the profile to the correct state landing page on the clients website. Then, we selected the proper service category and added additional services with custom descriptions.
After optimizing the GBPs, the client has achieved placement in 15/20 targeted local business packs. This has greatly improved visibility and market share for high value keywords which has turned into increased organic traffic and most importantly, a 157% increase in form fills.
