Payson Merkel

Payson graduated from the University of Oregon in 2019 and came back to the Twin Cities area after he graduated. He is inspired by the creativity and idea creation that comes with the advertising industry, and hopes to continue to be inspired throughout his career. His ultimate goal is to be able to mesh creative and digital media skills in a strategic way that can benefit him as a professional down the road.

Random Facts:

  • Payson loves videography and being able to shoot something from start to finish, as well as edit the video in post production
  • He worked as a production assistant in the downtown area for a wide variety of commercials the summer after he graduated from College, including Verizon, Footlocker, Minnesota Health and more
  • Payson’s mom is a veterinarian and loves animals (maybe a little too much) and for that reason he grew up with anywhere between 12-16 dogs or cats in his house at a given time. Too many!
