Meg has joined the team as a Director of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and is responsible for helping to drive strong organic performance across our clients while also guiding the development of future leaders across the SEO team. Meg has spent the last 16 years in SEO in both agency and client-side roles and has worked across various industries. Before joining Augurian, Meg spent 3.5 years at another digital marketing agency and seven years as in-house SEO support at Best Buy and Deluxe Corporation. This client-side operator experience shines through when assisting clients in successfully advocating for SEO initiatives within large organizations. She understands the significance of building business cases for SEO work and providing impact estimates so success can be measured.
Meg started her marketing career in the non-profit sector and developed a passion for SEO when challenged with the task of driving visibility for organizations that did not have advertising budgets for acquisition. Meg lives just north of the Twin Cities metro, where she spends much of her free time away from the computer screen gardening, playing with her two rescue dogs, Ike and Vivian, and trying her hand at a variety of home improvement and art projects.

- Meg was an executive pastry chef after attending Le Cordon Bleu. Get ready for some artistic yet tasty sugar cookies during the holiday season.
- She helped start a community music festival, RiverSong, that has been running for over 10 years and that pushed her to get scrappy about marketing and how to tap into the power of building relationships.
- She took up gardening during the early days of the pandemic and now has a greenhouse and a steady supply of fresh cut flowers, herbs, and some veggies.
